You exist!
Let everyone know about it.

Identity is key when it comes to the success of a business or organization. An identity reflects an image, and how you want that image to be seen by your target audience is important.

An identity is successful when it is understood, unique, and creatively used among a variety of promotional material that strengthens its positive recall value. It's not just about a logo and color but rather how the overall brand is consistently used in everything your business does.

I take great detail in understanding the background knowledge of what a brand represents to an organization. All elements of typography, imagery, color, and layout are purposely complemented to create a message that can be noted, understood, and remembered by the intended audience.

LA Cafe

LA Cafe

This is a mock brand package for a restaurant looking to make a trendy and refreshing statement. Inspired by the artistic freedom LA carries, I turned a traditional restaurant into one with life and color. With its rough texture, edgy typography, and symbolic attitude, this design reflects a restaurant with a history of good food and fun.

Livonia Save Our Youth Task Force

Livonia Save Our Youth Task Force

This identity represents an organization making positive efforts to spread awareness on substance abuse in a community. The logo design is fresh, friendly, and inviting with the use of bright colors and personification in the “Y” of Youth. The blocks represent different groups moving together in one positive direction. This branding can be seen in its web design as well.

Cocktail Cuts

Cocktail Cuts

This is an advertising campaign for a salon called Cocktail Cuts, the place where you can get a great haircut while lounging back with a drink. I built its company brand with a simplistic logo and a four-piece campaign targeting an upscale audience of both genders who just want to relax and look good.

Oakland County Employment Diversity Council

Oakland County Employment Diversity Council

This logo symbol represents the positive growth created through diversity. A circle of different colored hands form an ever-blooming flower to express the expansion of knowledge and its connection with OCEDC's networking value. The serif font and typographic layout reflects an organization that is professional and caring.

Library

Library

This case study project improved an already existing logo. The older logo of people sitting on a bench conveyed a friendly library atmosphere; however, simplifying this better reflects a quiet, comfortable environment and provides more usability with the logo. The curved ground represent the pages of a book and layers of knowledge available to the audience.

Seasons Pictogram

Seasons Pictogram

This is not a logo, but the purpose of this pictogram is still the same. Using strong consistency with color, shapes and overall design, a visual representation of the four seasons can be identified by a universal audience. This pictogram is a prime example of how things can look great and function best at its most simplistic form.
