With technology's creative movement, it is important to have an understanding of a variety of multimedia elements because they all overlap into one another.
Although I gravitate toward web and graphic design, I carry many other related interests that have helped better shape my skills. In fact, many of these skills are implemented into my web and graphic design work, processes, and presentations.
I carry interest in video-editing where powerful presentations create impact with emotion. I also use this activity with basic Flash animations that better enhance a web site. In addition, from basic photography and writing skills, I have a well rounded foundation to better improve project results.
What can I create for you?
As a side hobby of mine, I create memorable videos by combining video, pictures, voiceovers, and music into a keepsake DVD for many occasions. My videos stand out as being emotionally powerful. I take great care in understanding the person or event being remembered. It's not just a video with background music. I time everything together to tell an amazing story.
Being able to express your ideas is an important skill to have in order to keep communication clear. This storyboard represents a concept about a person who is stranded on an island. He tries to get help with a message in a bottle; however, mother nature makes it questionable if he will ever be rescued.
We've all had the experience where there is an annoying fly roaming around while you work. Are you the person that gets rid of the pest, or would you rescue it from its mistaken environment? You can make that decision and see the results in this 60-second interactive animated short.
This animation highlights a visual statement about the goals for this organization. An overwhelming problem of substance abuse is first portrayed with repetitive typography. A clever use of personification in their logo provides a motivational message to signify how the community can overcome the problem with support.
