Information and advertisements in print media run by our eyes every second of the day; however, only the pieces that promote action through a strong graphic design are effective.
My work reflects a graphic design that understands target audience, layout design, and persuasion. Whether it's a near booklet or distant poster, I can attract attention with a powerful visual presentation. With knowledge of brand consistency and eye-movement, I can spark memorable interest.
A great design doesn't just spring up. It comes from research, planning, and keeping close communication with clients to achieve accurate results. Successful marketing takes time, but getting each piece right eventually has its overwhelming benefits.

This two-page spread contains an article and large illustration highlighting the excitment that the youth had in voting for president in the 2008 election. Patriotic colors rightfully symbolize the American history. A trendy illustration reflects a highly energized youth ready to jump into a new start and better future.

These holiday cards were created as a three-image series. Using consistent layout and pattern, I formed unity among the three cards. With holiday colors and fun character illustrations, I created a holiday cheer that would entice the reader to open the card. My cards were a top selling favorite at a fundraiser where all proceeds benefited an animal shelter.

This direct mail piece was created to inform a community about a multimedia course at a career center who takes pride in educating real-world subjects to high school students in a career-oriented environment. The typography highlights the course activities and the love of one's education and job. A simplistic layout makes the bold color a great focal point.
These materials are used to promote my awareness web site project about substance abuse, suicide, peer pressure, and related issues within our youth. Keeping with the dark theme of my branding, I spark attention, promote thought, and persuade action through the use of imagery, typography, and distribution.
I created this poster for a contest organized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts Detroit Chapter. Under strict guidelines, designers were encouraged to “Celebrate Michigan Design” and its future. Michigan is shaped by its people, achievements, and culture. With the use of typography and bright colors, I reflect a state that is positive, exciting, and growing with the times.
This is a newsletter I created for the Livonia Save Our Youth Task Force. Keeping with their brand colors and friendly presence, I designed an 8-page newsletter to highlight their achievements and showcase their upcoming events. A strong grid keeps the newsletter consistent and strong.
